Senior Assistant / Supervisor FAAS

At Reanda Netherlands, we focus exclusively on providing high-quality audit and financial advisory services to international companies in the Netherlands, many of whom have most of their operations outside the country. As a regulated audit firm and part of the Reanda International network, we support our clients in navigating the complexities of global financial reporting, ensuring compliance with Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and other international standards.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Assistant / Supervisor to join our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our clients with the compilation of complex (consolidated) financial statements, GAAP conversions, and the implementation of new accounting standards. You will work closely with the other experienced members of the FAAS team contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial advisory services and supporting the international ambitions of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and review complex (consolidated) financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
  • Support clients with first-time adoption of IFRS and GAAP conversions.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and manuals tailored to client needs.
  • Provide technical guidance on the application of new or revised accounting standards.
  • Assist with post-deal accounting support, including purchase price allocations and integration of financial reporting systems.
  • Enhance finance process efficiency and quality, including improvements to the financial close process.
  • Prepare clients for audit readiness, ensuring robust audit trails and high-quality position papers.
  • Collaborate with audit teams to deliver seamless, holistic support to clients.

Your Profile

You are a technically strong accounting professional with a passion for international financial reporting and advisory. You thrive in a multicultural environment and are committed to delivering high-quality service to clients.

You have:

· At least three years of experience in the compilation of complex consolidated financial statements under IFRS and Dutch GAAP.

  • Preferably Dutch AA qualification or similar (RA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent), or studying for such qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP; experience with US GAAP is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in English (Dutch and additional languages are a plus).
